30 days LT Billing New scheme of 30 days Assessment / Collection is introduced throughout Tamil Nadu. Under this scheme last date for payment of Electricity Bill is 20 days from the date of Assessment / Reading (ie The first 5 days is the due period and the next 15 days is the notice period). Any error in billing shall be addressed within 2 days from the date of entry of Assessment / Reading in the white meter card. If the 20th day happens to be a holiday, the last day for payment will be the next working day. Assessment / Reading will be taken once in two months. Penalty charges will be imposed for payment beyond the last date.
